Roanoke Grill
Marriott Hotel, Chicago
Challenge
Install millwork and doors, tables, chairs, benches, cabinetry, wine racks, copper accents, ornate panels, a decorative ceiling and more at a full-service restaurant. The site was located on the ground floor of a busy, newly-renovated landmark Chicago hotel.
Complete all work as materials arrived, since the jobsite had no storage space.
Solution
Oakwood worked closely with the W.E. O’Neil Project Manager and hotel management. We coordinated the arrival of our carpentry and millwork experts so work began when materials arrived.
Result
Every facet of the project was perfectly timed. All construction was completed immediately, without requiring any storage of materials or tools, and without interrupting business flow. Oakwood’s master craftsmanship provides a rich, warm ambience for patrons.
