Challenge
Perform extensive improvements at a leading community grocery store while keeping all departments open for business during demolition and construction.
Maximize sales and remain sensitive to store and shopper needs, especially during peak holiday periods.
Solution
Using our years of planning expertise, we worked closely with store operators and upper management to complete projects in phases.
We reconfigured the deli and liquor departments; built a new floral section; expanded the produce department; installed a new sushi island bar, salad bar and hot foods bar; installed new bakery fixtures and refrigerated cases; hung new signage and repainted the entire store interior for a fresh, upscale look.
Result
All departments reported strong sales throughout our engagement. Business flowed normally, even during peak shopping months.
